Default Storing your guns in Plano foam padded gun cases?

I have been keeping my guns stored in Plano Gun Cases and have not had any rust or corrosion issues yet. I keep them in my bedroom closet in a well air conditioned home ( I have no children here so a safe is not required in my opinion ) locks on the cases are sufficent, I also use SNO Universal Gun Grease on all inside metal / parts as well. And I keep the exterior of the slide wiped with Remoil. Do you think that by storing them this way will cause any problems with rust or corrosion?

I have had many guns stored in Plano/Gun Guard cases for over 40 years. Some I don't even check or look at for 10 years or more. Every one is in perfect condition as it was when I put it in the case. I continue to use these cases for new acquisitions and have at least 15 cases. The filling in them has never lost its integrity and the guns have never been damaged from being in the cases. . .not at all! They are a great way to store guns.

Guns need to breathe and don't store them on the floor if you have big temp/humidity swings
