Nice!
I like NDZ products. I sent them an e-mail asking if they would do a custom order...nothing fancy, just my initials. I got an answer from CS saying they had referred my request to R&D. That already sounds expensive!

Take that finger off the trigger! Haha, just messing with you.
Looks nice, I've debated on getting one but haven't decided which one. I like the punisher skull one

Very nice mod! I have yet to decide on one because there are so many that I like! I have an Amazon Prime account and there are several on there that I like. And, priced very well.
Another great mod is a wide take down bar/lever. IMHO, this is the best mod I have ever done to my SD & SW guns.

I like it. NDZ does good work.
I've got the wolf howling at moon on a rock, beside pine trees on my SD9VE.

I found an NDZ plate on Amazon that is plain (i.e. no design on it.) It's billet aluminum, stainless like the slide, so I think I'm going to get it and then take it to a jeweler and have my initials engraved on it. It's $15, plus free shipping, and even with the cost of engraving (which usually runs about $1 per letter) that's bound to be cheaper than a custom order...which I still haven't heard back from NDZ.

Be careful. NDZ puts a powdercoat type finish on their silver end plates. If you look carefully, they're more grey than raw, dull stainless. Give them a call to see if I'm correct and if they could make you one without a finish.

I heard back from NDZ, and they will do a custom order slide cover plate for me with my initials "GKC" and they have a variety of fonts to choose from. (They can also do custom images.) The cost is $16.99 for the plate plus a $3 minimum set-up charge, so it's very reasonable. The turn-around time is two weeks maximum from the time they collect the payment, so it sounds like it will be pretty quick.

That might be worth my while to check into that as well.
GKC, can you please provide the information and/or the contact person at NDZ?

I'll send you the info in a PM. I don't know if it would be an infraction to list a vendor link or not...better safe than sorry!

I got an e-mail from NDZ today, confirming that they can do the rear slide cover plate with my initials in my choice of font for $19.99 (which I guess includes shipping, since that is the total charge.) They take PayPal or will process a credit/debit card transaction. I'm going to call them tomorrow to place the order, and then it should be a couple of weeks. I'll post pictures when I get it.

Well, I never got around to ordering the plate...I kept trying to decide on the font. I ended up buying a Shield .45, so I'm going to sell my SD9VE. I'll probably order a plate for the Shield now.

NDZ Slide Plate: We the People (Pic)
They do hold up rather well, I've had mine for over a year on my CCW.

I sold my SD9VE yesterday...kinda sad. I know it's silly, but I kinda felt like I was giving away a puppy I'd just adopted. I know the guy who bought it, and he's a good guy, so it's going to a good home.

I guess I kind of feel the same. I have the SD40ve which has been issue free, shoots well, and still looks like new after over 1,250 rds. But I am looking at the Shield45 also.
I am afraid the SD40 wont bring much in the way of trade-in and I hate for it to go to a, "Bad Home"!

Most gun shops won't give you much on a trade since they need to make a profit when they resell it. Some are better than others, in my experience, but on a readily available and lower priced gun, there just isn't much pricing room. I think you'd do much better to sell it yourself.

Hi, everyone. New guy here. I like that plate that says "We the people". I'd like to get one, but I checked out NDZ's website and I'm not seeing where they offer these plates for the SD9VE. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place. Can someone point me in the right direction?

I purchased my "we the people" off of NDZ's webstore on Amazon. If you search for it there you should find it.

Thanks, found it. It looks like they make a ton of different slide plates for the SD pistols, I don't know why they don't have them listed on their website. I finally figured out the right search term to find the ones made for the SD and filter out the other ones for other guns and all the other accessories made by NDZ. Now it's going to take some time to decide which one I like best. Thanks again.

When I was talking to NDZ about doing a custom plate (which they will do, and it's very inexpensive) they told me they were redesigning their website to correct that issue.

Hi Ken, we should have taken care of your request, generally initials we can process asap with minimal added cost. Thanks for considering NDZ Performance.

The delay wasn't yours...I did get a response from one of your team, and while I was making up my mind, I ended up buying a Shield .45 and selling my SD9E, thus eliminating the purchase of a custom end plate. Now, when you make them for the Shield .45, I'll happily sign up!
