Anyone have both?

Just wondering if mags look like a fit. I'm thinking a Sub 2000 for Beretta 92 mags might be the best match. 92 mags will work in SD9VE, with a slot cut for the SD mag catch.

Hello Steve,
Did you ever find the answer to your question? I own an SD9VE and am looking at getting the Sub2000gen2. Please fill me in if you found out anything

Welcome! I would give Kel-Tec a call, their customer service is pretty good and they will know the answer to your question.

No, I never got into the Sub2000. Ended up moving into the
S&W 3rd Gen arena. :D

My S2K is sized for G17 mags. The SD mag inserts with plenty of room to spare, but it will not lock into place. I suspect the 92 iteration would also be incompatible.

Phew, I lost track of this thread :D Thanks, Gents! :D

I never took the Sub2K plunge, moving into 3rd Gen
S&Ws instead.

After mucking about with Beretta 92 mags in the S&W
6906 (and Kel-Tec P-11), I'm reasonably certain the
SD mags would work in the Beretta 92 version, with
addition of an appropriately located, mag catch slot.

The SD (and Beretta) mags might not work in the
Glock version, if there's a lot of wiggle in the mag
chute.
