Grice gun shop has the SD9 magazine 16 rounds back in stock and still only $9.99.

I noticed that too yesterday. Too bad I have all the mags I figure I need. Great price.

Yes they do. The base plate is a little thinner but otherwise it fits the SW9VE fine. I bought one several months back for mine and didn't plan on another so soon but at this price I ordered another one yesterday.

I'm about to go out and buy my first pistol, towards the 2nd of june, I'm wondering if I should hop on this deal.
I plan on buying an SD9VE when I go to my LGS

Good choice! And, don't forget about the $25 rebate.

I ordered two! I almost paid $25 for one the other day. I'm glad I waited and joined the forum.

Good Company
Ordered one from Grice on Wednesday night. Got it on Saturday. That's great service considering I'm in Arizona and Grice is in PA.

Got my two the other day. Only gripe is I made a heck of a mess with the paper shred filled manila envelope they sent them in. Don't go at it with a pocket knife unless you gotta good vacuum.

Can I convert my 10 rnd mag to a 16 rnd by removing the indent that stops the follower from going down ?? bought this gun while the mag capacity ban was on 15 year ago, and got 10 of the 10 round mags.

I wouldn't think it's a good idea. Take a good look at the spring and then decide.
My thought is that you would be better off by selling your magazines at an attractive price and buying some of the $9.9 16 round versions, when they are available.
[I have both versions. If anyone has a question I can put up a picture which shows the issue.]

There is already a post in this forum, in a similar thread, by someone in CA who wants 10 round mags. Make a deal that's good for both of you.

The 10 round magazines are made in a way that if you tried to remove the indent, the entire magazine would break apart at the indent. Tricky little buggers.

I never got that far, just looked at the spring issue. I see that the metal is seriously stretched at the indent and can see that it could cause a break or serious bend id straightened.
Can someone with a better link please write private messages to the two guys on this and the similar thread, telling the guy with too many 10 round magazines to sell them to the California guy who wants some cheap 10 round mags?
The guy with 10 round mags can replace them with 16 round versions for $9.99 (if still available) and sell them to the CA buy for cheap, avoiding any attempt to destroy his 10 rounders.

There is a minor typo in my last response,
Any attempt to edit brings up a small empty box.

I would just keep an eye out for them to get normal magazines back in stock. 9.99 is a smoking deal on any magazine. Put the 10 rounders on ebay. Someone in a restricted state will buy them!

There is already someone needing 10 round magazines. Surely he can make a trade with the guy who has a surplus of 10 round models.
