Need an SD9VE or SW9VE slide or parts?

Thanks for this! I've been wanting a black slide for my SD9 since I'm not a fan of two tones.

Can someone tell me if these are interchangeable? I can not find a Slide for my sd9ve.

Nobody knows for sure, not even Smith & Wesson themselves. Seriously, somebody asked S&W Customer Service once if the slides of a Sigma would work on a SD frame, to which they responded that they didn't know because they had never attempted such a combination.

Some folks who own both have swapped out slides and they seem to work, but nobody has ever put them to the test.

Obviously the SD is the successor to the Sigma Series and was even originally referred to internally as the Sigma Delta, due to its lineage as a 4th Generation Sigma variant, but a fair amount of changes were made to the design such as the trigger mechanism, extractor, and the location of the firing pin block, so without in-depth knowledge of both the Sigma SW#VE and SD# pistols designs, it's impossible to he sure whether of not the slides are functionally interchangeable.

Frankly, I don't know why nobody has at least given it the old pencil test, just to see if it could work even if they were afraid that there were some risk involved in firing live ammunition, but alas, nobody has. If I owned both, then I'd do a pencil test, and if that worked, then I'd try live ammo during my next range trip, whenever that may be.
Unfortunately, I only own the last-gen SW40VE model and as cheap as they are, wouldn't be willing to spend the money to "upgrade" to the slightly better trigger of the SD40VE.
