I would like like to replace the springs for the extractor and striker/firing pin. Also the two plastic tubes that go in the striker/firing pin channel and the plastic stubs on the end of the springs.
I do have Gen 3 glock parts and I have not tried those to see if the work.
I have had this gun for more than 20 years. I carry it on my place in Florida when working and sweat continuously on it. I had not cleaned it for a very long while and could not initially get the striker to drop/fire. Finally got it apart and did some cleaning. I do have some minor corrosion I dealt with and just to be sure I would like change out some parts in the slide. Worse comes to worst I could buy a new gun but I do not want to. They go locally for $300 plus tax and back ground check. I purchased it used for $200 some time ago because the fellow's wife could not handle the trigger and he was getting her a 1911 like he had. I have mostly killed water moccasins with mine and some other things.
Other than the heavy trigger pull that is a safety plus, this is an extremely good, reliable gun that is mostly just carried everyday and seldom fired. I will test fire it tomorrow for function.
My glocks have holosuns on them and was worried about the sweat doing the red dots.

Sometimes Glock parts will fit. I have a parts bin for Sigmas.. actually 3 parts bins but Ive been shooting Sigmas for a long time since back when they were futuristic. The Glock Spring cups will fit. Ive seen videos where people claim that the 3rd gen glock extractor components fit but have not tried yet as I dont have really have Glocks. Strikers are hard to source sometimes but I have fitted SD strikes to my sigmas before. DONT DRY FIRE SIGMAS/SDs without snap caps. Dont drop a slide on a chambered round and chip your extractors either.
Places to check for parts are Brownells, Midway, Numrich, and Midwest Gun Works. Take note that some glock parts fit and there is a bit of crossover with the SD line in terms of parts fitting.
Extractor sourcing has become a problem but from what I saw the Glock extractors can work. The SD line kind of cheapened the Sigma IMO and they went with a simplified extractor. Still excellent pistols just changes made to lower production costs.
Glock Slide buffers will fit the Sigma and I use them with no problems for the range. My Carry Sigmas dont have them other than a couple 357sig builds but typically I shoot the 9mms at the range and carry the 40S&W Sigmas.
Glock front sights can be fitted to the Sigma as well.
