Need OEM parts for SW9VE
Need OEM parts for SW9VE slide. No one seems to sell them. Any suggestions.
I would like like to replace the springs for the extractor and striker/firing pin. Also the two plastic tubes that go in the striker/firing pin channel and the plastic stubs on the end of the springs.
I do have Gen 3 glock parts and I have not tried those to see if the work.
I have had this gun for more than 20 years. I carry it on my place in Florida when working and sweat continuously on it. I had not cleaned it for a very long while and could not initially get the striker to drop/fire. Finally got it apart and did some cleaning. I do have some minor corrosion I dealt with and just to be sure I would like change out some parts in the slide. Worse comes to worst I could buy a new gun but I do not want to. They go locally for $300 plus tax and back ground check. I purchased it used for $200 some time ago because the fellow's wife could not handle the trigger and he was getting her a 1911 like he had. I have mostly killed water moccasins with mine and some other things.
Other than the heavy trigger pull that is a safety plus, this is an extremely good, reliable gun that is mostly just carried everyday and seldom fired. I will test fire it tomorrow for function.
My glocks have holosuns on them and was worried about the sweat doing the red dots.

If they wouldn't I would not have suggested calling them. There are some parts that are factory install only but the only way to know if what you want/need is available is to call them! Most parts are available to the public.

MidwayUSA has all the parts except the striker spring (maybe considered factory install only). USA Guns and Gear has all the parts you mentioned. It is best to search by S&W part number especially when dealing with S&W customer service. The Sigmas were still on the last published parts list before S&W started keeping them secret.

For the love of God, do NOT use Glock parts in an S&W gun. EVER. If you can do without it for a while, just send it to S&W and let them go over it. Tell them it wouldn't drop due to corrosion or whatever. They will take care of it. My guess: you will get lots of new parts dropped in at minimal charge, if any.
