Default 469-659 Slide swap! Very cool.

Hey all, newbie here.
I have been using this great forum to self educate on all things S&W for a while now. Finally have a reason to post something!

I just picked up a very fine 469 this past weekend and while giving it the once over I wondered if my 659 slide would swap on it.

This may be old hat to some but I was grinning like Gomer!
Both safeties still work perfect and drop the hammer from half cock as it should.

Will try them at the range next weekend.

And, thanks to all the forum members who have unwittingly helped me along with my acquisition addiction!

Nicely done. I like playing lego with these guns. They really are great firearms in any configuration.

Welcome aboard, MidWesternBoy, from an old guy in the lower Midwest--Louisville. (It's not a southern city, no matter how the natives like to ham it up at Derby time. ) I hope you'll stick around.

Those look great. I wish I hadn't sold the 469 I owned years ago. They are nice little guns.

Thanks! My family origins are southestern KY. It’s a great state.
I’ll be playing with some polish and Wolff springs to tune up the trigger a bit but so far I’m impressed with this thing.
