Anyone have one? I have the opportunity to buy one for $399. It is in great shape, almost no wear that I can see, and Trijicon nightsites. I know it only holds 11, and new tupperware models hold 16... I have always wanted one, and kind of pride myself in using guns that are not always made of plastic
.40 Beretta for 399? I'd go for it. Always liked 92/96 series, but almost too big for 9mm. Just right size platform for .40 to my mind. Get tired of it and I know where you could get a 5.5" Walther P22. lol
I had a Beretta 96 Centurion. It was a good gun. Hard to find holsters that are designed to fit the shorter barrel. Do not use buffers designed for a 92FS with it. They cause the gun to jam.
I imagine you could use the full size mags, and someone probably makes a sleeve like for the 59/69 series Smith 9s, or the keltec P-11s or the M&P S&W line. All the major manufacturers that have scaled down weapons' versions are doing it like that these days.
I recently picked up a 96D LEO trade-in for 299. It was in very good condition and only had some holster wear which I was able to touch up with some gun blue and aluminum black. I'm very happy with it.
