CDNN Has CHP 4006TSW's Again But...
They are $499, $50 more than what I paid a month ago.
Listed as G/VG with Hogue grips in the e-mail (the pics shown are OEM S&W, and that's what mine came with, in VG shape, to my pleasant surprise).for 1 mag, blue case.
Also, extra 11rd blue follower mags are available for $19.99....BUT..they have...
PROMAG floor plates. WHY? They call it a "custom" floorplate.
Now, I know it's just a floorplate, but if anyone could make a defective one, it would be Promag.
Just a public service announcement.
May the Force Be With You, Always.

That would make me wonder if the spring and follower are ProMag too. But I'm a "glass is half empty" kind of guy.

They are selling the simunition guns, so they replaced the blue grips and butt plates. Now, the nice thing about the simm guns is the original barrel was not used and has a new recoil spring

If the magazine bodies are OEM, then the rest can be easily replaced.
As to the prices, even prices of used gun are higher than they were six months ago.

That is very interesting. The gun shown in the stock picture has a worn barrel. Worn to the point that the matching serial number on the barrel is barely visible, and the 2nd and 3rd digit are almost invisible, even when you download and enhance the pic.
If those guns were used in sim training, they would have fired a lot of rounds, and been cycled and potentially dry fired more than a duty gun.
I saw two locally recently, and that did NOT occur to me, but they were very worn examples, I would guess well beyond the 8-12K rounds I have read the CHP guns would have fired in training in their LEO life.
I have noticed the same with some 5906's a couple years ago, also at a show, and it did not even cross my mind they might be training guns.

Timing is everything.
