Never fired no idea, however if you send it to me I'll make sure it works for you. I won't charge you anything except for the cost of the ammo to test it. I might have to keep it for awhile to be sure no problems develope with it.

With the box and all the normal extra's that came with it, to a collecter if it is early enough to have the steel frame may be worth somewhere north of $1000-1500. Maybe about 950 of these were made.

Military marked would be about the same as the steel frame on a guess. Most likely only collectors would pay that much for it to keep it unfired, I think that these were pre model 39 no model markings and less than 1500 were made. About 300 of these for military testing.

Alloy frame over $400-500 maybe.

You have asked a difficult question. The prices I've seen others quote for something like that seem a little low to me, but I have only seen one mod 39 in my area in at least a year and I paid more than most people quote for them. Since it is unfired, the box and original paperwork would really help on resale value. Depending on how many original Mod 39's there are in your area it maybe anywhere from $400 - $650. You would get more from a collector, since someone who is just going to shoot it would probably wouldn't pay that much. All I know is that I don't regret getting my 39 and it is a wonderful gun to shoot.

Oh yeah, if you post a picture of everything you have with this 39 you could probably get a better estimate.
