Anyone own a S&W 1066?

Does anyone own or has owned a S&W 1066 10mm? I may be in the market for one shortly.

What would be a fair price for a LNIB?
What are your thoughts on this firearm?

I am guessing it will command anywhere between $600 - $800 although I have heard that limited numbers of the 1066 were produced. So perhaps >$800 would even be possible.

There are a couple of 1066's and 1076's on GB right now.

I believe there were around 5000 Mod 1066's produced. I would guess for a nice example it would be around $600 to $800. You won't be disappointed by this 10mm if you get it.

I got a used one about a year ago from the local gun store. I paid around 500 for it and I am very happy with it's performance. I had to clean it up a bit and add some Hogue rubber grips. Good luck on finding one for yourself.

I paid $575 for mine out the door with original box , 2 mags , manual and unopen cleaning kit , it wa unfired . It was someones safe queen , in all fairness the old guy at the pawnshop I bought it at had no idea what it was worth and couldn't even pull the slide back on it (it had sat in the safe so long the original lube had turned into something that resembled varnish ) .

Here's mine. Paid $585 shipped for it on gunbroker. The seller didnt have a buy it now option and when it went up starting at $585 (shipped) I emailed him an offer of $685 for it shipped if he'd take it down and sell it early. He never replied, the auction went for its 5 days and I was the only bidder at the opening price of $585 (shipped). Came with 2 mags and a leather paddle holster.

I absolutely love this gun and carry it in the winter when I can pull it off.

If you are still interested I have a very good 1066 that I am considering selling. Trying to clean out the collection a little and this is one of the candidates. I'm new to these forums and to selling long distance but I'm sure we can figure it out. I would like to clear $600 so I guess we're talking about $650 or so.
