model 59 grips

My question is will the model 39 grips fit the model 59.thanks guitar36

Not without being modified.

The 39s have a curved backstrap and the 59s have a straight back strap.

Then there's the fact that all 39s have the sideplate on the left side of the pistol and 59s had the sideplate on the right side so the grips are relieved differently.

I have seen modified 39 grips on a 59 and they look really nice.
