i just picked up a used s&w 3913
i just picked up a used 3913 no box it came with one mag for $471.69 plus tax the serial#vcr**** can you tell me what year it was made & is that a good price? thanks for your replys john.

I just paid $489 plus tax for mine but it had the box and two mags. Congrats on the purchase.

does yours have the black trigger & hammer? or is it stainless! if its stainless its older they call it chromed flash finish!

Great purchase. They are outstanding guns. I liked mine so much, I bought a 3914 to go with it. Put some hogues on them , and I'm good to go.

I'm sure you'll enjoy it. A nice little carry gun. Not that yours will necessarily behave like mine, but my 3913 is very accurate with 115 grain JHP (Rem UMC or Win white box) but does NOT like 115 grain Full Metal Jacket (like Independence or MagTech) at all (inaccurate).

Agreed. Had one I had to let go, got another one that I sold to a friend I introduced to shooting in general (it was the gun that fit him best to start carrying and I have plenty of others,) and I just rounded up two more---which is good, since the missus shot one and decided that her Beretta PX4 was lacking as a carry gun and she wants a 3913 to tote now.

now that i have my 3913 should i buy a 4516-1? for around the same price although the hammer & trigger are chromed flash! how many models were made of the 4516?
