Default 10 mm 180 gr jhp @ 1200 fps

Just wondering if anyone has had experience with Bitter Root Valley ammo made in montana I just ordered 5 boxes @ 19.44 for a 50 round box of 10mm 180 jhp @ 1200 fps from cheaper than people recently got a 1086 and really dont want to mess it up but really do want to shoot it more .. any comments welcome thanks David D P.S. also had question about plastic plunger thingy inside frame at back of grip on my gun posted at 1086 w/ night sights another post...

The 1200fps 180gr is what the 10mm was pretty much based on. Not sure where those powders fall, but you'll need at least a medium burn rate like Unigue or Universal to get to that velocity range. If you haven't done so I would replace your recoil spring with a new one, they're cheap and just good insurance. The plastic adapter is just for the Hoque grips, the factory grips hold the mainspring and spring cup in them. The grip pin is suppose to be holding the adapter in place, but like it sounds with yours, some people forget to put it back in.
