Seriously? That would be awesome. I was kind of shocked when the cheapest factory mag I could find was about $30. Guess I'm too used to buying old GI 1911 mags.
Heck ya I'm interested. I'll shoot you an email right away for it. Thank you, I really appreciate this.
..........Now why can't guys on the Colt forums send me offers like this.....

You can go shopping for me anytime, I don't find those deals in gunshops.
They are a good carry piece.

I stumbled across my 3913 of all places Gander Mountain. A trade-in the day before and just placed in the case before I spotted it for $330.00 and two mags. Congratulations on the find. I have yet to see a 3913 in any of the local or nearby gun stores.

Congrats! Picked up one last week for $350 OTD. It came with box and 3 mags and the magazine disconnect reversed so it could fire w/out the mag. That's her on top my newly acquired 6906.

Very nice 3913 at a very nice price.BTW I had a guy asking about original grips for his version 1 Detective Special.I told him to send me a PM with his snail mail address because I would send them to him without charge because mine was a version 2.He never got back to me so his loss. This was on the Colt Forum. The thing about +Karma is you have to let it in and I am glad to see you did.BTW I think I have a 3913 mag too so PM me....Enjoy and God Bless.....Mike

The only issue I see are the grips, otherwise it appears to be in excellent condition. Congratulations! If you like it now, wait until you get to the range.

Great timing. I'm in the market for a carry gun, and a local store just got in a 3913. I really liked it, and it's similar enough to my 4566 that I would feel very comfortable carrying this gun, right out of the box.
Mine is $350.00 with an extra mag.
Thanks for posting all the positive comments.

Yeah, Long Island (NY) is like that too. But ... I'm proactively buying, in lieu of what I'm hoping will be a positive McDonald decision. Searching for good karma and all.

You did extremely well on that purchase!
I have been looking for a nice 3913 like yours...and at the price you paid. I'm still looking, too.
Congratulations!

3913 - I like mine too
Bought it a couple of weeks ago, never fired, one owner, box, extra mag, manual, even blank warranty card for 340.00 Called S & W, built in 98 which is when the guy said he bought it new. Goes well with my 5906. Now looking for 5906 spur hammer for it. S & W wants about 50.00. Shoots very well. Enjoy yours!

I took my 3913 out for a test last Saturday. First off, I decided to break it down and clean it, after all its a used gun. Man-o-man am I glad I did. Apparently the last owner never heard of a cleaning kit. I actually found fuzzballs of something in the internals of the frame. So after a good cleaning I took it to the range.
I fired 100rds of WWB 115gr at 20ft. I don't practice much beyond that cause "in my opinion" anything past 20ft normally isn't a threat. But on a 8.5x11 target, all my shots where centered with a 1-2in groupings. Man is this lil thing accurate. I'm thoroughly please with this.
And to top it off, a huge +1 to george minze, he supplied me with an extra factory mag and holder, free of charge.... George, thank you very much. Cant tell you how nice that was of you to do that. Very much appreciated.
Tomorrow I'm getting a set of factory replacement grips delivered to my door. I'll slip them on tomorrow night and put up few new picks.

Well now I'm bummed. The grips I got were for the wrong gun. Its weird, you shop Midwayusa, search guns parts by make/model and it shows a factory set of grips. My fault I didn't read the model list (4013TSW, 4053TSW, 4056TSW, 6904, 6906, 6944, 6946)
But if you search gun grips by make/model, these grips don't show up. So now I have to figure out if I can return these. Apparently they don't carry oem grips my 3913.
