Red dot on a 422
Has anyone used the Aimtech scope mount on a 422? I would really like to mount a red dot on my 422 but $50 for a mount seems a bit steep. Also I don't know if I like the idea of changing the grips. They fit my hand well and are very comfortable as is. Any ideas?

I have been looking at this but haven't been able to find any information. I'm going to stick with iron sights for now.

I am kinda thinking the same thing. I just don't want to screw up such a comfortable set of grips. Would be really cool to have. A red dot.

Dude,
Check out the Weaver 407S mounting plate, made for the 2206. It costs $8.49@ Midway.
Looking at your 422 & a 2206 side by side, the slides look the same.

The weaver rail requires you to drill and tap the frame right?

There is another scope for the 422, but it is pretty hard to find. It was, made by B-Square and doesn't require any drilling and tapping, and doesn't change the grips. Here is a web pic.
