3rd gen photo thread.
We all love photos and 3rd gens so lets have a 3rd gen thread! (I looked but didn't find an old one, so sorry if there is one already.)
Here's mine.

Here's my 5906. It was becoming a jam-o-matic, but after a quick visit to S&W repair (new extractor), it has now performed flawlessly for several hundred rounds.

I know you at least a couple of you are going to ask..........PICTURES !?!
So.........
I have 2 teenage sons..... about 5 years ago we (read; I) made a house rule .... no photos on the internet.....this was back when the nude, gay and all the other "stuff" was hitting the fan" on the net..... leading to everything from accusations of "bulling" to suicides.....
"Teen judgement" being what it is ..we made a rule..... "NO PHOTOS guys !"
Which resulted in the inevitable question.......
"What about you Dad?".... back then I had no interest in posting photos. Social media ? ..... I could care less .... if it wasn't for this and a couple other Forums my internet footprint ...... would make the CIA proud LOL
So that's why while I post here you never see photos!!!!
So..........
Just move on nothing to see here!

Have others noticed that shooting your PC gun....... makes you the 'Coolest" kid at the range!!
"NO; you can't see it.....I'm trying to shoot here!"
Folks here do know that reference to PC guns means "Performance Center" guns......

Always enjoy seeing this one, 625smith! Went back and read your thread about it. One of about 380 or so, and made only in 1990.
Look close, boys, you won't see one of these too often!

I have a few that I am really happy with.
Two adjustable sighted 1006s, a 1066, a 4566 which I bought when they first came out. A 645 I got a few months ago it is technically only a second generation. And A really clean 4506-1-3 that I picked up a couple of weeks ago for four bills out the door.

I just recently acquired a 3913 and a 4013 TSW for a very wonderful price. $225 each! I have fallen in love with Smith 3rd Gens and have been adding to the collection. I actually intend to have a melt job done on the 3913 and have it Cerakoted.
3913
Yup, I truly believe that this 3913 will be my carry gun for a very long time. It is just perfect in every way.
4013 TSW
The rest of the collection...

Here's my Sokol-tuned 5906. Nearly done, save for a new 1911 dovetailed Tritium sight. Novaks will get the nod. Their turn-around is 5-7 days and is perfect.
