Default New Holster for my 6900 series.

Hi all.

Finding a new holster for our beloved third Gens is a real search. Many of the new style holster makers don't have a mold for them, some just feel that a pistol this far out of production is not worth there effort to make.
I can't blame them, but I found a very nice, inexpensive American made Kydex one made by Clinger Holster out of Van Buran Arkansas.
It is a No print, Kydex one made for the 6906, it cost me 27.95 with free shipping.
At this price I wasn't holding much hope it would be well built, but the fit and finish are very good, it not only holds the pistol if you turn it upside down a shake it, it is molded to hold the safety off. My 6946 fits in it as well, but my 6906 fits a tad bit tighter.
The surface has a pattern embossed on it to look like carbon fiber, it's .080 thick Kydex and it is adjustable for high or low in the pants carry.
It is very comfortable, to the point you can forget it's even there after a couple hours.
It came with extra screws and rubber spacers you can tighten or loosen it if needed.
The only down side is it uses a heavy plastic belt hook, I may want to replace it with a spring metal one at some point but for now, I am just going to wear it a see how it does in the long run.

Another option out there, I've mentioned Everyday Holsters a couple of times, but finally got around to taking a pic. Pretty comfortable holster for $40 shipped. Square trigger guard mold, so it fits both trigger types (my 6906 is round). Got me through the winter okay, though during the summer when I'm in just a t-shirt I usually go with my LC9.

You can adjust the angle and how far down it sits to some degree (three holes to choose from on each side). Pretty good retention depending on how tight you wear it. I also have one for my LC9 which I needed to tighten up a bit with a heat gun before I was satisfied.

So here is the actual holster with my 6906 in it, note how the holster holds the safety in the off position.
