Default Bodyguard .380 Magazines

My dealer just called S&W to get some mags for the Bodyguard 380 and was informed that they were all sold out. No idea when they will be back in stock... he was told to keep checking back.

Arrrggghhhh.....you would think that they would have made the extra magazines at the same time that they were making the pistol.

Same goes for the Taurus tcp 738 nowhere to be found. Taurus did give two with the 738. When my bodyguard 380 gets here this week it's going to be a long day breakin it in with one mag.

You would think if someone is willing to pay over $400.00 for a pistol you could include two mags and adjust the price.

I emailed S&W about availability of the magazines. I was under the impression they didn't have them available for sale at all yet.

Reply from S&W:
They are not available yet

My dealer called them back this week and they still don't have any available. They were kind enough to accept a back-order from my dealer. They never said they didn't have any at all, just that they were "sold out." I saw a post where someone was able to get some spare mags earlier in production so I guess someone got lucky.

I think the post to which you're referring was made by Mag318. He placed an order with his dealer, who, in turn, had placed a backorder with S&W.....or so I understood.
