Just your opinion sir. And you are entitled to it. Just as we are ours.

Well, he did state he successfully ran the 500 round reliability test multiple times...? . Doubtless he did!
Cheers!
P.S. My 3913 will always be one of my favorites, and most probably the reason I never felt it necessary to buy a Shield...

No worries, it's not a "For Sale" thread.
The characteristics of the pistol, remain unchanged, tho
time has passed.

A 3914 was one of my early carry guns. I loved the size and feel of it and it shot very well. However, I've never been a fan of bobbed hammers. I fitted a 5906 hammer into it with no trouble at all and liked it even better.
However, when the law here changed (1996?) I replaced it with my beloved 1911. After a several years as a safe queen I sold it at a profit during the Y2K scare. I really wish I hadn't.

I will agree with the OP to a point. That being my fave 9 is my 3953 and 3954! The DAO is great and shoots so nicely.

Trooper224. Exactly. As a use of force instructor, armour and firearms instructor for my department, 30 misses with a elephant gun dont equal one hit with a rock.
