Talking S&W 4506 or 1006 in "The Glades"?

Has anyone been able to sit through a whole episode of The Glades long enough to tell whether the main character is packing a 4506 or 1006? (I'm pretty sure it's not a 4006...)

In the glimpse I got, it looks more like a 1006 on the business end -- as in bore diameter. But it could be that Michael Chiklis's pistol from The Shield drifted down to south Florida...

The Smith in The Glades appears to be more strictly an "on-the-belt show prop only" for the main character -- rather than a sidearm -- as I've yet to see him use it. Often, he's pictured not even carrying at all. Either that, or he's found a really, really, really invisible concealed carry mode...
