Dang! CS9
A LGS that I've done business with just put a CS9 up on their website. $399.99 with box and two magazines.
Which makes it less than I sold my previous CS9 for last year.
I'm not really interested, but for a minute I thought about it.
For the MA contingent that hasn't looked yet, it's FS.
As long as it's in good shape, I think that price is pretty decent.

The only way to know would be to go up and take a look. Which I don't want to do since I have no will power and some money from selling a couple of guns lately.

Oh, go for it! What the Hell?
That's what I paid for mine. Mine is in "like-new" condition in box so I don't have any incentive to upgrade (nor money to do so... right now I am totally broke).

I would, but it doesn't fit a niche for me. Which is why I sold mine in the first place. I carried it a lot until I got the pre rail 3913TSW, which was a step up. Plus I had several extra magazines that worked with both.
No, I'm saving my money for another compact 45, either a 457, 4513TSW, or (really unlikely) 4536.

Well then, it sounds like it's up to tim_c to decide whether he wants one or not! Unlike me, we both know that he's got plenty of money!
I did find a CS45 in very nice condition up in the Worcester area. Price was a bit high for no box and just one magazine, but let me know if you are interested.

Off the list today! I guess it *was* in good condition.
And no, it wasn't me who bought it.

Man, you've got good eyes! I could really go for a pre-IL Model 18 in good shape if only I had a little money to spend. My brain automatically scans the list for 3rd Gens... but a really nice Model 18 would be an excellent find. I have wanted one for as long as I can remember.

If only they'd list something I want! I have a Model 18-3. Sweet shooting gun. I got it from Collectors a few years ago. I think I paid $425.00 plus tax. I couldn't believe they went that low, but they did. My daughter in law loves shooting it and I've told my son that it's hers when the time comes that I'm not able to shoot it. He's not too happy, but she deserves a reward for marrying him.

I don't blame you. A DAO CS9 is worth a premium, at least in my book.

The problem I've found in our crazy restricted state is that we 3rd Gen aficionados in MA all tend to own the same popular models. Now, that's not an absolute statement by a long shot nor is it an indictment of the sellers or buyers. Rather, it is a reflection of the isolated and restricted situation here wherein it is somewhere between difficult and impossible to import a lot of the most interesting, rare and desirable 3rd Gen models.
It is no big surprise that a lot more 3rd Gen models leave the state than stay here or come into the state. Exporting is simple. Importing... not so much. Even worse, the situation here with the bonded warehouses is leading to a constant drain of some of the best quality and most desirable collectibles, which are auctioned off and leave the state 99% of the time. It's a damn shame.
Rant over. Now, which one of you has got a pristine LNIB Model 4506-1 that you want to sell?
