My 3913 - All dressed up in CeraKote!

Alternative Coatings in Phoenix did a makeover on my S&W 3913. "Sniper Grey" slide with "Satin Mag" frame done with CeraKote. Nice work. Good communication and fast turnaround. Also put new Trijicon sights on for me.

Very nice! I have one that looks just like it that was done with Duracoat. I believe from what I am hearing from others that you will be very pleased over the durability you will get from the CeraKote. .... Big Cholla

The only way that could look better is if it were sitting on my desk right now!
 
Nice! Did they disassemble it to do it? Always wondered about that.

Was it *just* coated, or has that spent some time in a holster since it was done?

Many thanks. Yes, they did disassemble (and reassemble) it. I love my 3913. Had one five or six years ago and sold it naively. Never again!

Sorry about the delay. Yes, just coated. However, there's a lot of good press out there about CeraKote and I will dutifully report if there is wear. I have it now for about two weeks and still looking sharp.
 
Very nice, I had Tim do one of my Sigs with the same two-tone. Can't say enough about his work or how nice he is to deal with. Lucky to have him in the Phoenix area

You bet and can't believe we chose the same two-tone. Great minds...
 
Any updates? How's the finish looking, and what kind of holster are you using?
