this is my 4567 s&w it was bought for me the year i was born, and ive been carrying it since i got my handgun permit great weapon! anyone else here own one of these?[IMG]

Sweet EDC.......Don't have one of those but have a 410"special" that is two tone and just durabaked my EDC 6906 slide matte black.Two tone 3rd gen. has to be the finest looking handgun made!

Now that is a 3rd Generation .45 you don't see ever day! Very nice EDC.

are they rare or something? if so how many were made? and should i be carrying this weapon mine has a LOT of wear on the bluing that you cant see in the picture(camera phone) from the different holsters i have been using, which are VERY hard to find btw..


but i have been looking to get a smith and wesson SD9 or 40 very soon just because this thing is so dang heavy!

Jake, there were only three in my state when I purchased mine in 1991. I am curious of one thing. You are not yet 20 years old, how is it that you manage to have a permit to carry a handgun? I did not even know someone under 21 could "go armed" with a handgun without a parent or Gardian present. Have I been mislead?

Skunkhome,in my state of Virginia anyone over 18 and not otherwise restricted can open carry!

Skunkhome,In Indiana you come get a permit to carry at 18 and you cam get one that is good for your lifetime.

Here is my 4567. There were 1236 made in 1991 according to the SCSW.

Wow, that is something. Here in Louisiana you must be 21 to apply for concealed carry but may carry in auto and openly without permit. (though I would not recommend carrying in the open unless you want to cause a disturbance).
