Default 539 Nickel show find

Picked this up today at a show, factory nickel, ex-ex condition, box, dox, and an un-fired tool kit!
Apparently the total production of 539s was about 8300...anyone know a breakdown on nickel/blue production?

Indeed! You are correct and I was intending to post it there...somehow I ham-handed the keyboard once again.

I'll probably need mod assistance; lemme see what I can do.

Even though this does belong in the auto section, it is a very nice pistol. I always liked the 1st and 2nd Gen S&W autos better than the 3rd gens.

I have left a PM with a mod asking for help with fixing this; but it appears that they are all offline just now (who'dathunkit, eh).

I will re-post in the auto forum and hopefully the mods will lock n load this one and send it downrange.

I saw one of these in Nickle at a show yesterday. Guy wanted $600 for it, I wasn't THAT interested. Hmmm...maybe I should have been.
