My friend, I ordered one from the very same place last month. Let me answer your questions.
1. Is it worth the money?
Yes it is. The S&W 4006TSW is a finely made piece of steel. Full box rails, stainless steel everything, and one hell of a smooth trigger. Mine was made back in August, 2000. Came with night sights that are still pretty good after ten years. The gun was not dinged or scratched up. The only thing on it that was junk was the factory grips. They were chewed up. Replaced them with a set of Hogue grips and I'm happy.
2. How hard it is to find a holster?
Holsters aren't common but they're not uncommon either. I have a Bianchi pancake rig on order as we speak. Got it off OpticsPlanet.com for under $50. Most of the big name leather holster makers make leather rigs for it, also the kydex stuff is out there too. Bianchi and Don Hume make very nice holsters for the 5906TSW/4006TSW guns.
3. Is it a single or double stack magazine?
It is an 11rd double stack magazine. Mags are easy to find and the best ones are OEM S&W mags. Any 3rd Generation fullsize .40 S&W magazine will work for it.
The 4006TSW is the improved version of the 4006. Which is a traditional semi-auto pistol. Double action for the first shot and single action for everything after that. The level of quality is pretty damn nice. Like I said earlier, full box rails along with stainless steel everything. These guns retail brand new for $800-$900 a pop. Under $400 is a STEAL. Summit Gunbroker did not treat me wrong at all. Shipped my gun out ASAP along with the spare mags I wanted.
I shot mine and it was smooth and very little recoil. It's a heavy pistol mind you, but it shoots nice. I've carried mine in a Blackhawk inside the waist holster and it was comfortable for me. I do not feel under armed with one. Just to give you a quick run down of the gun.
