What is a model 4506 Stainless, and a model 4566tsw worth. Both guns are in excellent condition. No box or papers.
Thanks

I paid about $430 for a 4566 TSW with box in very good shape. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say $375-450 depending on condition, TSW or not(very slight premium for TSW to some folks), box, papers, number of mags, etc. Brand new boxes are available from S&W for about $10. New mags are available from CDNN for about $32. 4566 might bring a slight premium over 4506 to some people. This will also vary with the part of the part of the country you live in. North Alabama prices ought to be in this range, however.

Hope that bringing this back to current is ok with moderators.
I am looking at a 4566TSW LNIB w/2 mags for........$969 + shipping. Seems high to me after checking older posts on the Forum. Seems they were going for a considerable amount less per old posts. Yes, it's on GB. I have a 645 and would like to add another 45 like the 4506 or 4566, the TSW attracts me for some reason.
Thoughts or comments appreciated as always.

4566TSW
Just as a comparison, I paid $700 for a LNIB Pistol with box and papers about 18 months ago. I thought it was high, then.

That's WAY TOO HIGH. That's almost MSRP when it WAS new. I have a 4566TSW and a 4586TSW and both were in pristine condition when I bought them. I paid 485 & 450 respectively and both came with everything.

Thanks Boing!!
I had a gut feeling it was high but not that high. That's crazy-taking-advantage-of-people high. I'll just keep looking for the right deal.

Now that there is buying panic all guns are becoming scarce and sellers are jacking up the prices. I know that GT distributors had some auctions for TSW's. There's one in Dallas, give them a call if they don't have any the Rossville GA store might.

To a certain extent its going to depend on the region. In CA because both guns are out of production, and therefore can not be submitted by their manufacture for the CA drop test, neither can be imported into the state. Meaning people selling the guns in the state that already own them can ask whatever price they pull out of their *&^.
