Looking for some help what models can I exchange magazines with a RECON 45 and Shorty 45. Plus I have had poor luck with Promag and triple K in my 5904 and 6906 just my bad luck or dont rule them out?

The mags for the Recon 45 and Shorty 45 are shared by the model 457, and later full grip version of the 4513TSW as well as the 4516, 4553TSW and 4556.

I've probably overlooked another model that uses the 7 - round mag but I'm without my SCSW at the moment. Regards 18DAI.

Edited to add: Pro mags are junk in my experience. Not even useful as range only mags. Trash them is my advice.

I agree with 18DAI. I use 4516 & Shorty 45 mags in my Shorty, but only factory mags. The mags with orange, yellow or black followers work perfectly.

You must be tougher than I; I could not abide that Trijicon "design" for a rear sight. I ordered two from Brownells and could not return them fast enough. Went with Novaks.

You reminded me that I need to post up new pics of my Shortys.

Catshooter you have a sharp eye. I love my Trijicon sights. 300 more rounds and my BG380 my "EARN" a set.
