It was at one of my local gun shops and I am sure I paid more than I should have ($850) but I REALLY wanted it and it "appears" to have little to no wear on it. There are no scuffs, scratches or blemishes at all and whoever had it previously must have shot it once, cleaned it and put it away.
I am super stoked!

Hell, I'll be happy when I'm able to get a 4566TSW. I went to the monthly gun show here and saw lots of Smiths but a single PC gun. Great find.

The 4506, 4566 and well pretty much any TSW series are on my "short list". The problem isn't always finding what I want but rather, finding it in the condition I want for a price I am willing to pay. I have passed up some great guns because the owner didn't treat them well.

I'm guessing the 6904 in the picture is loaded. Am I right?

Congrats on your stainless CQB!!
I am green with envy! I've been looking for one like that for over a year. $850 ??!!?? Did you have a mask on!!
Let us know how it shoots! Nice collection of S&W's you have there. Regards 18DAI.

I don't think you over paid at all, especially since it is the all-stainless version. I have a stainless like yours and an alloy-framed one. They are very high quality guns that I rarely see offered for sale in my part of the country. I have never had a malfunction of any kind with either of mine and I think the stainless version would be darn near impossible to wear out. Enjoy.

I'm incredibly happy with the find and sooooo anxious to shoot her!
Yes, the 6904 IS loaded. I got home and went to the safe, grabbed the 645 and 745 and ran upstairs like a kid on Christmas morning (running up instead of downstairs) then grabbed the 6904 from the Mrs. side of the bed.
Actually, the 6904 was my first hand gun ever and even to this day, the accuracy surprises the heck outta me!
