TAK7879_____ 1986
TAT2512_____ 1987

So I would say 1986.

Thanks for the help.
I bought this pistol yesterday and it looks new but the box was beat up.
Off to the range this morning with Federal, Eley, Remington and Winchester to find out what it likes.

Thanks again for the help!

Stick with standard velocity. Many M41 owners recommend the CCI SV for accuracy, cycling, reliability, availability and price.

You guys are correct, the CCI std velocity functioned the best.
I had a couple of stove pipes with the Remington Promo and some that were "duds"., The Wolf match I brought wouldn't cycle, that was expected.
CCI works well, I'm happy with the purchase, just need to figure out what optic I want to put on it now, a Weaver mount came with it and I think it would be fun to shoot with a scope.
I picked up a 4X Leopold compact rifle scope at a swap meet a couple of weeks ago for $100. I'll use that for trading stock.

Thanks for all the input, it makes life easier.

You won't be disappointed in an Ultradot Matchdot (four dot sizes).
