What is a fair asking price for a NIB 3913 Lady Smith?
I am considering selling my NIB 3913 Lady Smith. It has the original box, mags, and paperwork. What would be a fair asking price for this gun? I know that most of the guns listed on gun selling sites prices are inflated and never met. Also, I don't think that any of the ones that I have seen are in NIB condition. The gun was sold to me as NIB, and I have never fired it. I am starting to restore a 1947 Ford Coupe and would like to take some of the money from the 3913 sale and put towards that restoration project. I also have a 3914, 3914NL, and a 3913NL in this platform, so I think letting go of this particular one won't hurt to bad.
Thanks in advance.

Lately it seems that the single-stack 9mm guns are in high demand and are getting premium prices. I'd love to lay my hands on one but haven't been able to come up with the cash.

I've been looking a lot for a 3913 or 4013 recently (I prefer the 3913NL and other non-Lady Smith scripted versions so am looking for those primarily).
3913 NIB versions seem to be listed for around $550-$650 and sometimes sell quickly. (but a lot of them seem to go unsold at the higher end this price range.)
In the last week or so I've seen a flood of 3913's and 6906's on GunBroker and GunsAmerica which are LEO trade in's in very good shape. Plus CDDN has been selling clean LEO trade-ins around $350 or so. I'm not sure what this will do to the price of the LNIB or NIB guns but I'm guessing they will go down a little bit/

A good way to check out a price is to go to GB and see what the asking price is for your model, that is if someone is trying to sell the model you have.

Actually if you are a member of Gunbroker, you can search the past sales of any model gun up to 90 days. That will give you an idea of the actually worth. Also figure in with the GB site, buyers are figuring in the cost of shipping and FFL fees to the worth of the gun.
Just checked and in the last 30 days, 33 3913's have been sold. Range is price was $380-$825

Just got back from a local gunshow and there was a 3913 without box for sale for $450. Pretty beat up looking and that's why its still sitting at the gunshow.
