I just found one and am impressed with the size and accuracy. Why did S&W do away with this neat little handgun?

The barrel is threaded from the factory so all that is needed to attach a silencer is a tool to remove the barrel nut and an adapter to screw the silencer onto the gun.

I bought the ewk adapter and tool for $50.

Way cool! Thanks for posting the photos. I've never seen one with a can attached before. I bet that is a hoot to shoot. :)

Very cool. Interesting choice of photo backdrop. :)

Incorporate an ambi. safety, and round the front of the slide, and I'd be all over one of those. I think that this gun, with this barrel length, got lost in the shuffle, with the Rugers, and the Brownings.

I have her sister, the 2213 (stainless or brushed aluminum I forget which). I have had it for probably 10 years and it has digested 1000's upon 1000's of rounds. Great little guns!

I love my 2214....

It outshoots both my Manhurin PPK and S&W 34's.

It has become my favorite "Kit Gun".

It seems to really perk with Hi-Speed ammo....

Finding a holster was something of a challenge.... I finally settled on a Blackhawk in Nylon, Size No. 5. Not perfect, but it works...

S & W 2213 etc.

I had one, I liked it, but too many jams.

If I could get a deal on one, I would probably try again.

I have a 422 target with no problems, 6 inch barrel.

Have a chance at one for $250. Trying to decide if I really need it....

No box. Not sure if it has two mags or just one.

You might want to source a magazine or two before you buy it if they aren't included with the pistol. They've become rare as chicken teeth here lately and are bringing well over $100 a piece
in good condition.

May just buy it and use it as trade bait at the next show.
