Just received the January issue of Guns and Ammo. Contains a review on the Performance Center ported shields in 9MM and 40. Sights are Hi-Viz 3-dot fiber optic green front and red rear. According to article the barrel has a single port to vent gas and the slide has three clearance ports to let those gases escape. Trigger on test sample was 4 pounds. Guns come with 2 mags, a flush mag and the other with a bigger base pad. Gives a MSRP of $490. Also an article on the Smith and Wesson Classic Line.
Yes I read that too. Sounds like the trigger has some work done too. I like everything but the ports. Seems like a place to collect lint or dust. Also, some ported guns are louder than non-ported......to each his own. I hope they sell a lot.
