Found the perfect holster for my 3913. What's it really for?
Not sure what it's supposed to fit but I found a great holster today that fits my 3913 like it was made for it. I was able to pick it up for less than $35. I have a holster that I had made for my 3913 and this Desantis fits the gun better. It is extremely comfortable and retention is perfect.
Any ideas what it was designed for???

From your description, it sounds like it was designed for a 3913! =]

Igor is probably right. I have a Desantis pancake holster made for the 3913 that also fit my 6906, the 5906, 915, (barrel stuck out a bit) and my CS9. Third gens of the same caliber all seem to work with the same holster. I have a Blackhawk Serpa for the 5906 that fits all the above guns, including the CS9.

There is something really cool about finding a piece of leather that really fits. I prev posted that I bought a 6906 and I found a Bianchi on Ebay. It was worn in just enough and fit perfect.
I also found one for my FS92 perfect
You find a nylon or plastic OK thats nice
But find a piece of Leather its next level than find it reasonable OH BOY!
I dont know why but this is a great pleasure of life

Did some research on the numbers and found out it was a run of holsters Desantis did for the PPS with the wrong logo. It should have been a Walther logo. Looking at the holster I can see that now.

Excellent. I just looked and saw the ones marked "blem". In the description is says it has the wrong logo. Just know that you will need to relieve a little area where the decockers hit when not in the safety position. If the safety is on they don't touch. Depends on how you carry. I only have the left side safety and I trimmed out a small notch.

Search "Desantis Blem" and it cuts it way down from over 1300 auctions to 39.

So my CS9 should fit a Desantis Kydex Holster that is listed for the 5906?

It should fit but you'll have a lot of extra holster at the muzzle.

Two for the price of one ...
I found two (left and right) Don Hulme front break "blem" holsters for my new model 69 thanks to this thread.
The right for strong hand carry and the left for weak hand carry. Weak hand when backing up my AirLite snobby .357 which is my main carry gun.

S&W Logo Holsters
The Accessories section of the S&W factory website has some holsters imprinted with their logo.

If you're wanting a nice leather holster I bought this IWB model from Nelson Holsters for my 4040PD, which he has the mold for.
I found my 3913/3914(s) fits it just fine. The 4040PD is essentially the 3914NL, which has the angled dust cover, but in 40 S&W.
He makes OWB models too, in different price ranges.
