Default 5903 SSV

It isn't my auction, and I don't know the gun, BUT, there is a 5903 SSV on gunbroker, and only at $300. It isn't listed right, and I think that may explain the cheap price. it doesn't say SSV anywhere in add, but it is, and you can see it stamped on gun. I can't get it, so wanted to pass it along in case someone was looking.
Good luck if interested.

Is it the 2-tone gun? What does the SSV designation entail?

Short Slide Variant, kind of like having the slide from a compact 6906 on a full size 5903, but made that way from the factory. Alot like a semi-compact available from some other manufactures, full size frame using full size mags with a compact slide. I have seen two-tone ones before. hope this helps.

Very nice gun. I didn't know S&W made that combo. Did they ever make one like that in DAO?

I was watching that one too, but wasn't home when it ended. It looked like a really solid shooter. Hope it went to a good home.
