908 mag w/flat bottom
Hello All
Picked up a new to me S&W 908 mint cond. I was wondering if there are any mags out there with a flat bottom?
Havent shot it yet and it only came with one mag. doesnt look like it ever been fired. Should i avoid any aftermarket mags?
serial # VSL8xxx anyone know about when it was made?
any info about magazines will be appreciated.
Regards
Mike

The 3906/909 nine round mags came with flat bottoms and will work in your 908, just stick out the bottom a little.

If you want a flat bottom magazine, S&W once made a 7 rd 3913 magazine with a metal base plate. It fit flush with the bottom of the grip, unlike the 8 round plastic base that protrudes just a little from the gun. It helped with concealment of the gun. I don't think there are many out there and I don't think they have been produced for years.
