Default Can you tell me the diff between 6906 and 669

I really have fell with a hard crush on the 3rd gens. I listed a 9mm and got a PM asking if I had interest in trading for a 669.I love my 6906 and am probably going to buy another.
Can someone compare a 6906 and 669

The one thing I see that really stinks is the phillips head screw on the starboard side. looks primitive
Thanks Hank

You swap out the "primitive" phillips screw for an allen head screw.

I had seen an example of a 669 on GB with a flat plate like on the DAO pistols I wonder where I could get one of those?

The 669 has the older style pre-Novak sights. Also doesn't have the wrap around grips. That and the safety change already mentioned, I believe are the only differences. Of course, it has the square trigger guard, like the original 6906s.
