Default Light Scuff Marks on Fired Brass

I like to ask if this is normal on the walter PPKs made by S@W
I fired about 100 rounds threw the gun no problems at all gun shoot one hole group out to 15 yards, not even a he-cup
I did notice on some brass a circle scuff mark but never did catch my eye until I was given it some thought on maybe reloading the 380 cal.
I took a few pictures on the brass and the chamber of the barrel there are some light machine marks that you can see .
I like to ask is this normal or what to make of it?
I did try 3 brands of ammo
Winchester
Federal
PMC

Default brass markings

the markings are not unusual, just a less than perfect chamber finishing, the chamber can be polished out as long as you don't over do it, or as the saying goes "if it ain't broke don't fix it.
also the markings won't effect reloading the brass at all.

I though I ask only because my 1911 SA chamber is smooth:
I wonder if other S@W auto have come across the same problems were chambers were left unpolished to a smooth finish

The chamber could be polished if the marks bother you. Just a sign of the times and cut-backs to save costs wherever the makers can.

Like the others have said if it ain't broke don't fix it... But seriously if it's shooting good for you and you don't have ejection problems chalk it up too poor manufacturing and a lesson learned.

Like what has been said before, I would not worry about it. My wife carries her PPK/S daily, when we first bought it new all of the edges were extremely sharp. A little work with a stone and polishing wheel smoothed everything out. The biggest problem was some sharp edges on the firing pin housing that was making a slight cut in the shell casing. Mostly S&B brand shells, which do have a thinner case wall. Again a little work with a stone and it cleared up. I tried to get her to swap to a LC9 but the mystique of the PPK has her won over.

Range update:
I ran the HP Fiocchi ammo threw the gun to day Man what a difference .
I shot 30 rounds no jams no stove pipes and almost no marks on the brass:I think other manufacturers may be using softer brass compared to Fiocchi.I mixed rounds in the clip Winchester Flat Points then HP hp then FMJ NO PROBLEMS
I am going to retire my J frame S@W from the early 80's
The S@W can really spit them out as fast as you can pull the trigger:I only had one misfire and that was with PMC ammo other then that I ran almost 200 rounds threw the gun
Federal
Winchester
and
Fiocchi all are excellent in the PPKS
