908 Pawn Shop score
I know this may not be one of those amazing deals that some people seem to luck in to, I am still very pleased with a Pawn Shop score I made today. Obviously, this one was not somebody's safe queen but the frame rails don't have a mark on them or show any signs of wear and the barrel looks perfect. After a good cleaning and lubing it hand-cycles and dry fires exactly like my 3913. Same break point and trigger feel. I'm going to remove the mag disconnect right now then take it outside for 100 rounds.
I feel like I am definitely going to get my $250's worth out of this one. Should be an excellent carry gun.

I probably would have set a new land speed record for fast drawing my wallet if I ran into a deal like that! I've never seen a two-tone Model 908 like that one - it looks great! Congratulations on a great deal.
Regards,
Dave

Come to think of it, I've never seen a two-tone 908 either. Probably no way to tell if it came that way or if a swap was made at some time in the distant past. If I get the chance to get them side by side I may see if the slides interchange. They never would with my TSW.

Congrats, very nice find, especially for the money.
I started with a 915 and just recently got a 3913. I've got to start going to pawn shops.

Greta Buy! I purchased a 908 like yours earlier this year but didn't as great a deal. Does anyone know when these two tone models were offered? I have only seen one other like this on an internet site.

It's DA/SA with a decocker and safety. The hammer is bobbed from the factory.

The 908 was my first semi-auto handgun. One I really regret selling.
Very nice find
