I lost track of the number of rounds that mine has eaten. I know it is well over 10k (I'm sure I am due for some replacement springs) but I haven't had any hiccups of any kind and she has eaten anything and everthing that I have been able to lay my hands on to feed her. I did add a set of Houge grips to help fill out my hands (gave me a better "feel" after having a Beretta 92 stuck in my hands by the USAF for four years). Unfortunately for me ammo prices and availability have cut short my usual 150-200 rnd weekend trips to the range but other than that you've got a real sweet gun there. ENJOY!

Im glad that you've had a great experience with yours. That just makes me more confident that I made the right decision. Thank you for telling your story because I feel more comfortable in my decision to purchase this gun now. Im thinking that I am going to have to start reloading this catridge due to it being very expensive to buy ammo off the shelf for. The full powered loads from Double Tap and stuff gets expensive real fast. I think getting a 10mm is just going to make me take the leap and start reloading. Ive thought about doing it for years but right at the moment Ive been doing research on a good Press. I think I am going to Get the Lee classic turret press with a few extras on it. I think it will probably turn into another hobby that I will know I enjoy.

Good luck and enjoy! I am kinda in the same boat, I'm shopping around for reloading gear myself. Its gonna be an investment but I know in the long run it will pay off. Besides, in time I can work up to "real" loads like the original Norma loadings. Not the "tamer" stuff that most factory loads are produced at now. The other option I was considering was to break down and switch to a 40S&W. This would give me a option for more readily available factory loads and a "reason" to add to my S&W 3rd Gen collection. I missed out on a 4006 about a year and a half ago and have been looking ever since. Guess I will just have to keep my eyes open and fingers crossed and see what happens.
