I have looked in the archives but have not found the information I am looking for. Which 3rd generation auto is best for a conversion to .38 Super? I have a Model 4566 and a 439 (which I have read that the mag. well is too small for the .38 Super round).

Dixiejack, the 38Super being longer the 10mm pistols would lend themselves to the task...I think BM1 used a 356TSW chambered barrel in one with some success. He has a barrel project on going but having access to the CNC machines has been limited for him.

I'm hoping he will gain some access time to finish the barrels he's doing.
