S&W has 9rd mags for it. They stick out a little, but they work.

First off, welcome to the forum, Mutt58.

If you don't mind your "shooting" magazines being blued instead of stainless, you can use Model 39/439/539 magazines. Earlier ones will have a "skeleton" steel follower, but most you'll find will have a black plastic one. Either will work fine. These still turn up all the time at gun shows and in the boxes of magazines that many gun shops keep around. I'd stay away from any aftermarket mags.
