3913 TSW Find
I ran across a LNIB 3913TSW Tactical for $750. Comes with case, mags, etc. Is it worth that much?

650.00 would be a better price. The TSW designation and LNIB cond. may command a premium, but that's still high.

The same group also had a 908S in similar condition for $525. I'm not very familiar with that one but it looked good.

I thought so. I can give it a shot but they'll probably be firm.

The S&W book has $575 for ANIB. Your LGS is trying to make an extra $175 on the uninformed shopper!

The 3913 is a very nice gun, I think they're out of line with that price. $500. around here if you find one. They are getting harder to find but I'm just not giving that kinda money.

That's about $520 US. I went to that site and couldn't read a word! I guess I forgot what German I once knew when in Hanau. I still remember how to ask for a beer, though.(Ein bier, bitte)
I think I need to look around a little more. I thought the price was a bit exorbitant, now I know for sure from the comments.

Way Too Much
Recently found a "used", but non-fired 3913TSW, for $400. Two extra 9 round mags at $15 each. No box, no papers, just a great pistol.
I see lots of police trades for around $390 to $439.
Keep looking.

Which is also on top of whatever they screwed the original owner out of! Shops never give you anything near what the gun is worth, but they'll sure resell it for what it's worth - on the high end!

Our IT security folks at work won't allow us to access this forum,or any gun forum or shooting supply company for that matter as it's considered "weapons" and by the time I get home I figured they were probably closed. I need to just write down his number and call Monday...wish he had an email address.
