Holy cow what was I thinking, please tell me its gonna be ok!
So I went to a gun store yesterday that's a little out of the way. Long story short I bought 2 guns. A 39-2 for $400 which is like new and practically unfired. No box or papers. I also bought a 3904 for $469 like new and I believe it is unfired but no box or papers. The 39 was well worth it, but was the 3904? And may I add I gotta pick up my shield on thursday! I should just smoke crack, it would probably be cheaper!

Yeah, but what fun would that be? Trying to hide it from the significant other, now that's a challenge.
PS... Try explaining to your Wife that you owe about $5000 in taxes and still have a model 49 on lay-a-way.

Not to mention, you can always sell them later and maybe make a few bucks. Drugs are a money pit.

I don't know anything about drugs... besides... I spend all of my WAM (that's Walkin Around Money) on Smiths... dang... it sure does cut into my lunch budget!

Ok, so here is an example of a member that is thinking outside the box. He goes out of his way to check out a gunshop and not wanting to waste the the oppurtunity and of course, wanting to get the most of his gas money, he buys not one gun, but TWO. Ok, now there is someone that I admire!

So what your saying is that your as nuts as me? Not even enough leftover for a happy meal! I understand it though, the month of January I bought one or two guns every weekend for 5 straight weeks! Ramen noodles where the only item on my menu at my house for a while after! Lol! No wonder I'm single, the only date I can afford to take a chick on is a shooting date, as long as she buys the ammo! Hahaha

I don't think crack would help. I've heard it just leads to the really hard stuff, like buying 3 guns in one trip. Maybe even picking up 2 shields instead of 1. It's just a step away from being homeless, pushing around a grocery cart full of guns.

The last time I was out I bought a Model 59 that was as new as they come in the box. I haven't been to town since.

Like the military, there are rules of engagement to visiting a gun store. If you want to make it to the 30th with a positive bank balance the following ROE should be used.
First, evaluate & recon.Avoid contact with any territory marked "Discount Guns & Pawn". If the need for a shovel or outdoor impliment requires visiting a store with a gun counter,a disciplined and fast insertion combined with a direct extraction out of the Aisle of Operations (AOR) is advised.Having a spousal team member helps this process .
But,as we all know, things happen in the field.Sometimes you have bad intel on the store's layout or the border of the AOR is near the stores gun library.A contingency plan is to flank the counter and regroup near the 1911 section. The high prices will serve to restore the psychological motivation to extract from the AOR with money intact.
***Bulletein***.If a S&W 5900 series handgun is spotted,do not engage.Immediate withdrawal is required.Several scattered reports from the field indicate this handgun has the ability to change the hearts and wallets of even the most stout gun shop warriors.Intel states that these dangerous items are found in the used gun case.***
Many a budget has been laid to rest because of these devices.Don't be a casualty.

I read the best reply to the spouse asking: "Is that a new gun?"
The Reply: Honey...that old thing...you've shot it!
In my houst that means: Yea, it's new, I love ya honey!
