Very nice! I'm on my way in a few minutes to pick up a 5906 I have on hold, and - if he still has it - have him put a 5943 I have been eyeing on lay-a-way.
3rd Gens. are a terrible addicton....and by terrible I mean awesomely superb.

You are addicted to excellence and value. Someday soon we will fondly remember the days when these fine pistols could be had for under $400.00

Hey, I'm right there with you. I'll sell a few, then look for others. Looking at getting a 5946. And its a DAO and I have previously said I don't like DAO, but here I am, looking for one. It is a sickness, like all gun buying is. The vast majority of us can't stop at one. No way, no how.

Picked up two very nice examples in the last couple weeks myself; a 6906 and 4566. Such solid weapons, especially for the money.

Great news, I have a 4553, 4583 and a 3953 all for
sale. Glad to see so many buyers out there. I'm thining the herd and will be listing them for sale soon or PM me. I do like the 3rd gen. Smiths. You
will like your DAO's great trigger.

In my opinion there has never been a better feeling pistol to point and shoot with and yes I have 2 colt 1911s.The way the S&Ws from 1st gen on are made its like old world craftsmanship.smith will have to see the light once all these police guns are snapped up and make a classic series maybe 639 and 659 .

They are truly some of the best firearms ever made. I don't understand why S&W would keep offering revolvers and stop making 3rd Gens. I do like my M&P 40. It is a fine state of the art piece, but there is something about all metal guns that makes you want to collect them more.
