Holster for 4516-1
I know this has been discussed before but in a search I could only bring up three threads about it and some links within were no good anymore. I'm looking for a holster, any holster OWB or IWB for my 4516-1. I've read whereby the holsters by some companies for the Sig P229 will work but the P229 comes in 9mm and 40 S&W flavors and Milt Sparks show two different catalog numbers depending on whether is the 9 or 40/357Sig. Any points to other threads or current recommendations appreciated.

Col,
For my Shorty 45 I use an IWB from Bagmaster.com that I really like. It holds a spare mag and they wear really well. Won't mark up the finish either. My piece is the same size as yours.

I carry my 4516-1 in a belt scabbard made for a Sig 229 and it fits almost perfectly. I am confident that almost any leather holster intended for a non-railed Sig 229 will work fine. I'm not sure about the Kydex ones or those with mechanical retention devices like the Blackhawk Serpa.

I'm not really a Kydex fan or I'd try the Crossbreed. I'm more into leather and the Versa Max would fit the bill but as I indicated I don't know which would be best for the 4516 in that they show two different ones depending on whether it was the 9mm or 40 cal for the 229. I don't know why that would make a great deal of difference.

I have a couple for sale. I'm a lefty and my 4516 came with a couple right handed holsters. I'll accept just about any reasonable offer.

I carry mine in a "Canute" from Ugly Bald Guy holsters. It's an awesome holster, very comfy and durable.

Don Hume 40 F JIT ;Don Hume H710 : Galco m5x466 for Hi-Point 45; Fobus SP11B for Springfield XDM 45; All OWB.
Check this link and look at holsters for SW Sigma, I find that many Sigma made holsters work for me,,.. THE HOLSTER STORE | Quality American Holsters, Custom Leather Holsters, Holsters Online.
This is my go to favorite as can make do most anything plus carry spare clip.. Fits any of my guns revolver or auto, can wear in any position you can strap a belt to, even shoulder holster in the car, Small of the back OWB, IWB Cross Draw, Front carry etc etc,, Plus easy on / off when needed.
Concealment Concepts Holsters front page <meta name="google-site-verification" content="Q4mPpl-aEVnv00iHRI5gkjml7X1kEOXE2zJC6ucQ6zo" /> Check the LOW RIDER HOLSTER, This is Supremely Comfortable IWB. as good as Cross -Tuck for me anyway..
This should keep you busy for awhile
