New Twist on an old Model 41
I recently had my Model 41 barrel vented by E.W. Kovachic Technologies.
I really like the look and the price was very reasonable! I just wish I could take better pictures.
What do you think??

Definitely looks very sharp. I really like that myself and they did a great job on it as well.

Thanks, Guys,
Although my pictures don't show it, the re-blueing of the barrel was a real surprise! Eric managed to buff out the only ding I had on the left side of the barrel, and his blueing looks as good as factory!
I will be dealing with this gentleman again.... and soon!!

Dang.. I LIKE it!!
Did removing that amount of metal (weight) from the slide require recalibrating the recoil spring to a lighter spring?
How's the handling feel like now, did it make much of an improvement?

The barrel is milled, not the slide.

The venting lightened the barrel by 2 ounces. It cost $95 but I'd e-mail Eric for current pricing/turn-around time. His e-mail is: [email protected]

DOH!!! Of course it is... since I have a number of the 3rd gen pistols I'm so used to thinking in terms of the barrel being inside the slide that I forgot the M41 is a much different animal.
Chalk it up to being star struck with that work. I just emailed Eric about having mine done too.
