Default Scored a CS9 for a bargin!

I can't even being to tell yall how long my 3rd Gen drought has lasted, but alas today my string of bad luck finally snapped!

Stopped by Cabela's to pick up some camping stuff and happened to see this little CS9 with a price tag of $269.00. Needless to say, after little to no haggling, I was walking out with a smile on my face.

Serial #: EKZ6XXX. No Box, and only one magazine but for under three bills I ain't complainin'!

EDIT: Just cleaned her up with some good ole Ballistol, damn thing looks ANIB!

Forgive the ****** pics, my primary camera crapped out on me.

You need to get a lotto ticket (with that kind of luck). GREAT deal. I would have torn my pants trying to get my wallet out fast enough.

Looks just like the one I bought earlier this year for $300 in a private transaction.

Nice find. Looks like one of the earliest production models (single side manual safety, plastic sights).

If it were me, I'd order the factory recoil spring and some mag springs, since you have no way of knowing how much use the gun has really seen. Might as well order a few recoil springs, since they're really inexpensive (compared to ordering them 1 at a time and paying much more for shipping ).

I order them a dozen at a time for my CS9 & CS45, but then I shoot a fair amount and like to have the springs at hand when I realize it's time for replacement.

Congrats.

Thanks for the advice Fast! I didn't know this was an early-ish model, whomever owned this previously looks to have carried it a fair amount but used it very little.

After field-stripping and cleaning her after I got home I can barely tell that it's a used gun. Really makes you wonder what blue book the dudes at Cabela's were looking at.

Oh well, you won't catch me complanin'.

Really great find. The CS models are next on my pre polymer round up!
I have the 39,59,459,5906, 3913, 3913NL and 4506-1.But in all those purchases I have never seen a CS.
Congratulations what a great find!

Which Cabelas did you find it at? I have been checking the one north of Fort Worth for many months. You got a great deal there.

Mad,

I found this little sweetie at the Cabela's in Allen. They seem to have of turnover in the used section the turnover is fairly consistent. They even have a Registered Magnum up there as we speak.
