As I continue to shoot my new to me last month 3913 I am awaiting my 3913NL next week. So I walk into one of my local pawn shops today on my weekly round and ... There in the bottom of the case sits a 4013TSW like brand new with 4 SW mags. I couldn't believe my eyes.
Now my question. No original box. Asking $599 but said he would let it go for $500. That was without me even asking. What is the going price? $500 for a 4013TSW excellent cond w 4 SW mags?
I have never owned a .40 cal or even shot one. I was rying to stay away from another gun to buy ammo.I think I'll see how low he will go. If I can get him to $450 i will definitely by it. I can always sell here if I decide I don't want or like the .40
Those are pretty good carry guns, compact and lighter than the all steel versions.
A local store has had a number of LE trade in 4046s for quite a while priced at $299. I think one of the big distributors had a lot of them. They still have a number of them in very good shape. If you search around, and don't mind all steel or DAO, they may be available in your area if you want a solid reliable gun at a great price to test the waters on 40.
